In March 1996, six friends sat together talking about the Brüderschaft St. Christoph headquartered in the Hotel Hochspitz in St. Christoph, Austria, and its history of helping people since the 14th century, in and around the Arlberg Pass. The friends decided to start a similar organization with those who come to Blue River to ski, hike, and live.
The organization is open to women and men by invitation from a friend. Monies collected through membership are used to assist those in need or to fund worthy projects.
The overall purpose of the Brüderschaft is to unite those who share a love of life and the mountains. Brüderschaft members support each other as friends and aim to be of assistance, both individually and through the Brüderschaft Blue River group.
We are proud to be associated with such a good cause and with the family of Adolf and Gerda Werner.
We are pleased to introduce a new, secure, online payment system for Annual Fees and Donations. This new system is convenient and easy to use and will help individuals keep Brüderschaft memberships up-to-date. The online payment system also allows Brüderschaft members, and others, to donate any amount at any time - or when an urgent appeal is launched.
Please take time to update your contact information and pay your 2010-2011 Annual Fee through the link provided. Once you register your membership will be automatically updated and you will be sent the new member login and password.
Each year you must pay your fees by May 31 in order to keep your membership active for the following year. You will be sent the new member login and password following your fee payment.
